In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, heat 2 tablespoons oil and saute garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Transfer garlic to a small bowl and set aside. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in wine, lemon juice, zest, thyme, oregano, and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir in garlic and transfer the mixture to a 9X12 baking pan.Use paper towels to pat chicken dry. Coat the chicken with remaining olive oil and season with remaining salt & pepper. Arrange chicken skin-side-up on sauce in the baking pan. Arrange lemon wedges around the chicken breasts.Bake until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of chicken breast registers 160 degrees, about 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven and cover loosely with a sheet of aluminum foil. Allow chicken to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve drizzled with reserved pan juices.
