1.33 Cups Sugar2 Cups Flour4 Teaspoons Orange Zest1.5 Teaspoons Baking Powder0.25 Teaspoon Baking Soda0.75 Cup Butter1 Medium Egg0.5 Cup Dried CranberriesPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F.In a bowl, mix together 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon orange zest. Set aside.In another large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and remaining 3 teaspoons orange zest. Set aside.Combine remaining 1 cup sugar, butter and egg in bowl and beat at medium speed until creamy. Add flour mixture and beat at low speed until well mixed. Fold in the cranberries. Using a cookie scoop, form small balls with the dough. Roll each ball into orange and sugar mixture until well coated. Place on the prepared baking sheet keeping 2 inch distance between each cookie.Bake 11-15 minutes until edges and bottoms of cookies are light golden browned. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely on a wire rack.
