0.13 Pound Bacon0.5 Medium Onion2 Pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs1 Tablespoons Sweet Hungarian Paprika0.5 Tablespoon Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper0.75 Cups Water1 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour0.38 Cup Sour Cream0.5 Small Bunch Fresh ParsleyIn a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add bacon and saute until brown & crispy, about 10 minutes. Add onion and saute until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the water, chicken, paprika, salt & black pepper. Cook until chicken is brown on all sides, about 10 more minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer until meat is fork-tender & fragrant, about 45 minutes.Transfer chicken to large bowl and set aside. In the same saucepan, add flour & sour cream to the pan juices and stir continuously until mixture thickens into a sauce. Pour sauce over chicken and stir to incorporate. Serve over individual plates of egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
