1 Teaspoon Active Dry Yeast1 Teaspoon Salt3 Cups Bread Flour6 Ounces Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese0.5 Cup No Salt Added Canned Crushed Tomatoes0.25 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper0.5 Teaspoon Dried Oregano3 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil6 Fresh Basil LeavesIn a large bowl, add 1/4 cup of warm water and sprinkle with yeast. Keep aside for about 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of cold water and salt and stir to combine. Slowly, add flour, 1 cup at a time and mix until a dough is formed. Transfer dough onto a floured surface and with your hands, knead until smooth. Divide dough into 2 equal sized portions. Shape each portion into a tight ball. Coat each dough ball with oil evenly and place in a larger sealed container. Refrigerate for at least 16 hours. Remove dough from the refrigerator one hour before using.Preheat the oven to 550 degrees. Arrange a pizza stone on the lowest rack. Dust a pizza peel with flour lightly.Dust dough with flour lightly and slowly, stretch into 14-inches diameter round. Place dough round onto the floured peel. Arrange mozzarella slices over crust and sprinkle with a liberal amount of black pepper and dried oregano. Arrange tomatoes over crust, leaving some empty space. Drizzle with oil evenly.shake the pizza peel back and forth to make sure the dough doesn't stick to the peel and easily releases. Place the peel at the back of the preheated stone, and carefully remove peel to release pizza on the stone. Bake for about 4-6 minutes. Carefully, slide the peel beneath the baked pizza to remove it from the stone. Sprinkle with basil leaves and cut into wedges. Serve immediately.
