Smart Recipes, American Recipes, Grains Recipes, Recipes Grains American Homemade Crackers Homemade Crackers Recipe | RecipeSavants.com PT35M Serves 12 Ingredients: 5.25 Cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1 Cup Water 0.5 Cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 2 Teaspoons Fleur De Sel Sea Salt 0.25 Cup Flax Seeds Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a large sheet pan with silpat or parchment paper. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, flax seed and 1 teaspoon of salt. With your hand, make a little well in the center of flour mixture. Add oil and 1 cup water in the well and use a wooden spoon to mix into a dough ball. On a floured work surface, roll dough until about 1/4 -inch thick. Place dough onto prepared sheet pan and sprinkle with remaining salt. Bake until golden brown & crisp, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and place the pan on a wire rack for about 10 minutes to cool. Lift silpat or parchment paper to gently transfer baked dough onto a cutting board.
