Sautéed Fennel

Sautéed Fennel Recipe | PT45M Serves 2 Ingredients: 2 Medium Fennel Bulbs 1 Pinch Salt 1 Pinch Pepper 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon Parmigiana Reggiano Cheese 1 Tablespoon Italian Style Bread Crumbs Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Slightly cook fennel in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes or until tender. Drain. Grease a shallow Pyrex baking dish with oil. Transfer fennel to the baking dish in a single layer. Top with a tablespoon of oil. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for about 20 minutes. To brown the top turn the broiler on and broil for 5 minutes. Squeeze a lemon and serve.
