2 Cups Butter1.5 Cups Sugar2 Eggs3 Teaspoons Almond Extract0.25 Teaspoon Salt5 Cups FlourPreheat the oven to 375 degrees.In a bowl, add sugar and butter and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and almond extract and beat until well combined. Add salt and enough flour and mix until a dough is formed. Make walnut sized balls from the dough. Arrange balls onto ungreased cookie sheets in a single layer about 1-inch apart. With a fork, flatten each ball. Bake for about 7-10 minutes or until edges become golden brown. Remove from oven and keep cookie sheets onto the wire racks to cool in the pans for about 5 minutes. Carefully, invert the cookies onto the wire rack to cool completely.
