2 Cups Alll Purpose Flour3 Teaspoons Baking Powder0.25 Teaspoon Salt0.33 Cup Vegetable Shortening1 Cup Whole MilkPreheat oven to 450 degrees.In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add shortening and with your hands, mix until a small pea stage is formed. Slowly, add milk and mix until dough becomes just stiff enough to easily handle. Transfer dough onto a floured surface and with your hands, knead for about 10 times. With a rolling pin, roll dough into 3/4-inch thickness. With a floured biscuit cutter, cut out the biscuits and arrange onto a cookie sheet about 1-inch apart.Bake for 12-18 minutes, or till the biscuits are golden brown and delicous.Allow biscuits to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
