Baked Chicken With Fig-Orange-Balsamic Sauce Recipe | RecipeSavants.com PT50M Serves 4 Ingredients: 4 Large Bone In Chicken Breast Halves 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil 0.5 Teaspoon Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper 0.5 Cup Chicken Stock 0.33 Cup Orange Juice 3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar 1 Medium Orange 1 Teaspoon Fresh Thyme Leaves 8 Large Fresh Figs Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Season the chicken with oil, salt and pepper. Arrange the breast halves in a baking pan and roast for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine orange juice, vinegar, orange zest, thyme and chicken stock in a medium-sized bowl. Pour the sauce over the chicken, and roast for another 10 minutes. Add the sliced figs to the baking pan, and roast for another 10 minutes. Transfer the chicken and figs to a serving platter and serve with the pan sauce.
