Bechamel SaucePT35M Serves 8 Ingredients: 5 Tablespoons Butter 1 Small Yellow Onion 2 Cloves Garlic 0.66 Cup All-Purpose Flour 0.25 Teaspoon Salt 4.5 Cups Whole Milk Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic then cook for about 3-4 minutes until onion is tender. Add flour and salt then cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until mixture is pale golden. Add milk and whisk until smooth. Cook for about 9-10 minutes, whisking constantly until sauce comes to a boil and thickens.
