Pressure Cooker Italian Chicken & Sausage With Peppers Recipe | PT40M Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 4 Italian Sausages 1 Frying Chicken 1 Medium Onion 2 Medium Green Bell Peppers 2 Cloves Garlic 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar 1 Can (16-Ounce) Diced Tomatoes 0.75 Teaspoon Dried Basil 0.25 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds 0 To Taste Crushed Red Pepper Flakes 0 To Taste Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper With tines of a fork, prick the skin of each sausage in many places. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and cook chicken and sausage till browned completely. With a slotted spoon, transfer chicken mixture into a bowl. Add bell peppers, onion and garlic to the pressure cooker and cook for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add vinegar and scrape up brown bits from bottom of pressure cooker. Stir in chicken mixture and remaining ingredients. Secure the lid and place pressure regulator over vent pipe. Bring to a high pressure. Reduce the heat to maintain high pressure. Cook for about 10 minutes. Use the natural release method to release pressure. Uncover, adjust seasoning if needed and serve.
