This recipe calls for grilling the shrimp, I recommend you use your indoor grill pan to keep things easy. If you wish your outdoor grill will work as well - just make sure that you are being efficient and cooking more than just shrimp to justify heating it up. Also, if you don't have metal skewers (here is a set I recommend - https://amzn.to/2IuLNXX) make sure to soak your bamboo ones for at least 30 minutes before grilling otherwise they will just burn up.
