Add yeast mixture and stir to combine. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time and mix until a non-sticky dough is formed. With a plastic wrap, cover the bowl loosely and keep aside in a warm place for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, for filling: In a large skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat and cook cabbage until wilted, stirring frequently. Add eggs, salt and black pepper and cook until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and keep aside. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with pieces of foil. Place dough onto a floured surface and shape into about 2-inches wide and long log. Cut the log into 1-inch pieces and then, roll each piece into a ball. With your hands, flatten each ball into 4-5-inch circle. Fill the circle by placing a spoonful of the egg mixture in the center of each circle and folding to overlap the filling forming a half-moon. Pinch to seal properly. Arrange pirozhki onto prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving some space between each other. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
