Smart Recipes, American Recipes, Dairy,Nuts Recipes, Recipes Dairy,Nuts American Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie PT20M Serves 4 Ingredients: 20 Chocolate Sandwich Cookies 0.5 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream 0.5 Cup Unsalted Butter 0.5 Cup Unsalted Butter 1.66 Cups Creamy Peanut Butter 1 Cup Powdered Sugar 0.5 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Pulse the cookies in a food processor and add 5 tablespoons melted butter. Pulse to mix well. Press this mixture into a 9” pie and freeze for 10 minutes. Beat the cream, 1/2 cup of softened butter and peanut butter in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the sugar and vanilla and mix until well incorporated. Pour this mixture into the cookie crust and chill in the refrigerator. Combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips and heavy cream in a bowl and microwave for 15 seconds. Stir well and cool for 2 minutes. Top the pie with quick ganach, and refrigerate for 1 more hour before serving.
