2 Cups All Purpose Flour0.25 Cup Light Brown Sugar1 Teaspoon Baking Soda1.5 Teaspoons Baking Powder0.5 Teaspoon Salt2 Teaspoons Black Pepper3 Large Eggs0.33 Cup Unsalted Butter2 Cups Buttermilk6 Slices Bacon1 Cup Cheddar Cheese5 Scallions1 Cooking SprayPreheat waffle iron and grease it. In a large bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and black pepper. Make a well in the center of flour mixture and keep aside. In a small bowl, beat eggs. Place beaten eggs, buttermilk and melted butter in the well of flour mixture and with a wooden spoon, mix till just combined. Fold in cheese, bacon and scallions. Cook in waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
