1 Teaspoon Dried Marjoram2 Large Carrots2 Cloves Garlic1 Large Onion2 Tablespoons Olive Oil1 Cup Dried Lentils2 Cups Chicken Broth0.125 Teaspoon Salt & Pepper To TasteIn heavy medium pan, heat oil over medium heat and sauté onion for about 8 minutes. Add garlic and carrots and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add lentils and broth and simmer, covered for about 45-60 minute. Stir in marjoram, salt & black pepper and remove from heat. Serve hot.
