0.75 Cup Buttermilk0.5 Teaspoon Salt0.5 Cup Butter Or Margarine2 Tablespoon Warm Water2 Tablespoons Sugar2 Cups All-Purpose Flour0.5 Cup Sesame Seed1 Package Active Dry Yeast1 Large Egg WhiteIn a large bowl, add yeast and water and stir till yeast is dissolved. Keep aside for about 5 minutes. Add buttermilk and stir to combine. In another large bowl, mix together flour, sugar and salt. With a pastry cutter, cut in butter till fine crumbs like mixture form. Add buttermilk mixture and mix till a dough ball is formed. Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and with your hands, knead till smooth. Dust working surface with flour again. Place dough onto floured surface and pat into a 6- inch square. With a biscuit cutter, cut dough into 9 equal sized biscuits. In a small bowl, add egg white and beat well. Dip top and bottom of each biscuit with beaten egg white and then, coat with sesame seeds evenly to coat. Arrange biscuits onto a buttered 9-inch square baking sheet in a single layer. Cover the baking sheet and keep in a warm place for about 45 minutes or till double in size. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake biscuits for about 18-20 minutes.Remove from oven and keep onto wire rack for about 15 minutes, carefully, invert onto wire rack to cool completely.
