Combine water, milk, ¼ cup butter and honey in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave the mixture for about 1½ minutes or until butter is almost melted and mixture is hot. Let the mixture sit for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix until combined. Whisk in egg and mix until soft and sticky dough forms. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet with 1 teaspoon butter. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for about 3 to 4 minutes until dough is elastic. Let the dough rest covered with the plastic wrap at room temperature for 5 minutes. After that, divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and place balls over a baking sheet. Brush each roll generously with butter. Turn the heat off, cover the dough rolls with clean kitchen towel and place in oven to rise for 25 minutes. Remove from oven after 25 minutes and turn the oven on to 375 degrees F. Once preheated, bake rolls until rolls are lightly golden in color, for about 17 to 20 minutes. Brush with remaining butter once baked. Serve immediately.
