Line a baking sheet with a double thickness of paper towels. In a large pan of salted boiling water, cook asparagus for about 3-4 minutes. With a slotted spoon, transfer asparagus to a bowl of ice water to cool completely. Drain asparagus and transfer onto prepared baking sheet and pat dry completely. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add peas and asparagus and cook, covered for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in radishes, tarragon, salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
