Ingredients:
1 Pound Thick Hickory-Smoked Bacon1 Cup Sorghum Syrup1.5 Cups Cider Vinegar0.5 Cup Chicken Broth1 Bay Leaf0 To Taste Kosher Salt & Cracked PepperHeat a skillet over medium high heat and cook bacon stirring often until just nicely golden brown, for 4 minutes. Remove on paper towels to drain well. Wipe the skillet with a paper towel to clean completely. Return bacon to skillet. Add sorghum and cook 1 minute stirring occasionally. Add vinegar and cook until liquids reduce by half, 8 minutes. Add broth and bay leaf and simmer until sauce slightly thickens. Season and let cool for half an hour before serving.
