2 Medium New York Strip Steaks1 Clove Garlic1 Tablespoon Canola Oil0 To Taste Salt0 To Taste Pepper2 Teaspoons Butter4 Tablespoons Blue Cheese0.5 Cup French Fried OnionsPreheat the outdoor grill to high heat.
Rub both sides of steak with cut side of garlic. Drizzle the steaks with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper evenly. Place steak on hot grill and reduce heat to medium. Grill, covered for about 3-4 minutes. Flip the steaks and grill, covered for about 2 minutes more.
Top each steak with 1 teaspoon of butter. As butter starts to melt, spread it over the top of the steak evenly. Top each steak with 2 tablespoons of blue cheese. Cover the grill and cook for about 1-2 minutes or till desired doneness of the steaks. Transfer steaks to serving platter and cover with foil for about 5-10 minutes.
