1.66 Cups All-Purpose Flour2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds1 Teaspoon Baking Powder0.5 Teaspoon Salt1 Cup Granulated Sugar1 Large Lemon0.5 Cup Unsalted Butter3 Large Eggs0.5 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract0.33 Cup Sour Cream0.25 Cup MilkPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan with butter and set aside. In a large bowl, add milk and sour cream and whisk until combined. In another, bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, poppy seeds and salt. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream 1 cup sugar, lemon zest, and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time while continuing to mix and add vanilla. Slowly, mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients about 1/3 of the mix at a time. Stir in the fresh lemon juice. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and cover with a sheet of aluminum foil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
