Smart Recipes, American Recipes, Grains Recipes, Recipes Grains American Chocolate Banana Nut Oatmeal PT15M Serves 4 Ingredients: 2 Large Bananas 2 Cups Soy Milk 0.25 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract 0.25 Teaspoon Pure Almond Extract 0 To Taste Kosher Salt 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 2 Cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats 2 Tablespoons Honey 1 Pinch Ground Cinnamon 2 Tablespoons Semisweet Chocolate Chips 0.33 Cup Walnuts Dice one and a half of the bananas and thinly slice remaining half banana. Heat soy milk in a large saucepan adding 1¾ cups of water, 1½ diced bananas and extracts. Now add in cocoa powder, oats and 1 tablespoon of honey. Cook on medium heat stirring constantly until oats are completely cooked, for about 6 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a large serving bowl or 4 small per serving bowls. Top with cinnamon, remaining honey, chocolate chips, walnuts and sliced bananas.
