2 Teaspoons Baking Powder0.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda2 Teaspoons Granulated Sugar0.5 Teaspoon Salt0.5 Teaspoon Black Pepper0.5 Teaspoon Caraway Seeds1.5 Cups All-Purpose Flour0.66 Cup Green Onions1 Egg1 Cup Buttermilk0.25 Cup Vegetable Oil0.66 Cup Monterey JackPreheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 8 cups of a muffin tin.In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, caraway seeds, baking soda, baking powder, salt, pepper and green onion. In another bowl, add egg, buttermilk and oil and beat till well combined. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and mix till just moistened. Place mixture into prepared muffin cups evenly and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or till top becomes golden. Remove from oven and keep onto wire rack to cool in pan for about 5 minutes. Carefully, invert muffins onto wire rack to cool slightly. Serve warm.
