Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour2 Tablespoons Baking Soda1 Tablespoon Ginger1 Tablespoon Cinnamon0.5 Teaspoon Salt1 Cup Sugar0.5 Cup Unsalted Butter5 Tablespoons Shortening0.25 Cup Molasses1 Medium Egg1 Cup Green Decorating Sugar1.5 Cups White Chocolate Melting WafersPreheat the oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon and salt.
In another bowl, add sugar, butter and half the shortening then beat till fluffy. Add molasses and egg and beat till well combined.
Combine the contents of both bowls and mix till well combined.
Make about 1½-inch sized balls from the dough. Roll the balls in decorating sugar evenly and arrange onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for about 10 minutes and place on rack to cool.
In a microwave safe bowl, add remaining shortening and melting wafers and microwave on high for about 1 minute.
Dip each cookie half way into melted wafers mixture.
Decorate with M&M's and colorful sprinkles before serving.
