Smart Recipes, Indian Recipes, Grains Recipes, Recipes Grains Indian Coriander Rotis Coriander Rotis Recipe | PT30M Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon Gram Flour 0.25 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric 6 Medium Fresh Green Chillies 0.5 Teaspoon Salt 0.25 Teaspoon Ground Cumin 0.75 Teaspoon Ground Coriander 4 Ounces Fresh Coriander Leaves; 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour 2 Tablespoons Clarified Butter 6 Tablespoons Water To make the filling, blend the chilies and ginger to a paste. Add a pinch of salt, ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, gram flour and coriander leaves until well combined then divide into 12 portions. To make the dough, mix the flour and salt in a bowl until well combined. Rub the oil into the flour with your fingers. Gradually add the water until well combined then form into a ball. Knead for 4-5 minutes until soft but not sticky. Divide into 12 balls. Take a ball of dough and dust with flour then roll out to about a 5 inch circle. Brush with oil then place a portion of the filling in the center. Fold in half, bringing the ends together to form a seal. Roll lightly again then brush with more oil. Fold in half again to form a triangle with 5 inch sides. Melt clarified butter on a griddle and cook the rotis for 1-2 minutes, turning once during cooking. Drain before serving hot.
