Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Ginger Root0.33 Cup Dry Sherry1 Pound Tuna Steak1 Teaspoon Honey1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce1 Clove GarlicCombine gingerroot with sherry, honey, soy sauce and garlic in a cup.
Microwave the glaze at high for 1 minute and leave to cool slightly.
Place tuna in a baking dish (large enough to room all 4 tuna pieces).
Pour prepared glaze over tuna.
Cover and let marinate for 2 hours at least.
After 2 hours remove tuna from the glaze.
Preheat a microwave safe browning skillet over high settings for 8 minutes.
Once heated, arrange tuna slices over the browning skillet keeping the thickest portions outward.
Microwave for 2 minutes at high.
Upside down the steak and baste with the glaze.
Microwave again for 2 minutes.
Remove from microwave and let stand covered for 2 minutes before serving.
Serve with glaze alongside.
