Smart Recipes, American Recipes, Beef Recipes, Recipes Beef American Beef And Cauliflower Bake Beef And Cauliflower Bake Recipe | PT3H15M Serves 10 Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon Ghee 4 Cloves Garlic 2.5 Pounds Beef Mince 1 Large Green Bell Pepper 0.25 Cup Dried Oregano 0.5 Tablespoon Chili Powder 3 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper 1 Teaspoon Salt 1 Cup Vegetable Or Beef Broth 2 Cans Organic Diced Tomatoes 0.25 Cup Tomato Paste 1 Medium Head Of Cauliflower 0.25 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar 0 To Taste Shredded Tasty Cheese 0 To Taste Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 Large Onion Heat ghee in a large stock pot over medium high heat. Sauté onion in heated ghee until translucent and softened, for about 5 minutes. Add capsicum and garlic and sauté another 2 to 4 minutes. Add beef and sauté until browned. When beef is almost browned add oregano, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir to coat the beef well with spices. In a food processor or blender, puree together canned tomatoes along with their liquid, vinegar, broth and tomato paste. Pour pureed mixture over beef and mix to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook covered for 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens and reduces. In the last 10 minutes of cooking, add cauliflower florets. To Freeze: let cool the cooked beef completely and then place in freezer-safe containers. Freeze for up to 3 months. To Serve: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Defrost frozen beef and place into a casserole dish. Bake until hot and bubbling, for 30 minutes. Sprinkle both the cheeses on top and broil until cheese melts.
