Bourbon Cherry Ice CreamPT30M Serves 6 Ingredients: 2 Cups Cherries 3 Tablespoons White Sugar 1.5 Tablespoons Water 2 Tablespoons Bourbon 14 Ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract 2 Cups Heavy Cream In a pot, bring the cherries, sugar and water to a boil then simmer for 10-15 mins. Remove from heat, add the bourbon and set aside to cool. Meanwhile start the ice cream base by whipping the heavy cream in a stand mixer for 3 minutes until stiff peaks form. Mix the vanilla extract and condensed milk in a bowl then fold into whipped heavy cream followed by the bourbon cherry mix. Store in a tightly covered freezer safe container and freeze for 8-12 hours.
