Remove from heat, add the bourbon and set aside to cool. Meanwhile start the ice cream base by whipping the heavy cream in a stand mixer for 3 minutes until stiff peaks form. Mix the vanilla extract and condensed milk in a bowl then fold into whipped heavy cream followed by the bourbon cherry mix. Store in a tightly covered freezer safe container and freeze for 8-12 hours.
