0.25 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract2 Cups Strong White Bread Flour0.75 Cup Plus 1 Teaspoon Milk1 Teaspoon Salt1 Teaspoon Dried Yeast2 Tablespoons Demerara Sugar1 Egg3 Tablespoons Butter1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon2 Tablespoons Butter1 Egg0.33 Cup Brown Sugar0.25 Cup Raisins0.5 Cup Icing SugarFor the dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, demerara sugar, salt, 3/4 mug of milk, egg (mixed with water) and softened butter as you make the bread dough. Place dough into a greased bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll into 10x16-inch rectangle. Place melted butter on dough rectangle evenly and sprinkle with brown sugar mixture, followed by raisins. Carefully, roll the dough into a 16-inch log. Coat the edges of the log with beaten egg to seal the filling. Then, cut the log into 12 squares. Arrange log squares onto the baking sheet in a single layer and drizzle with a little water. Keep aside in a warm place for about 30 minutes.Coat the top of squares with remaining beaten egg evenly and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, for frosting: In a bowl, add icing sugar, 1 teaspoon of milk and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.Remove from oven and place onto a wire rack to cool. Spread frosting mixture on cooled buns and serve.
