2 Pounds Ground Beef1 Teaspoon Salt1 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin1 Tablespoon Chives4 Cloves Garlic0.5 Teaspoon Paprika1 Egg0.5 Cup Homemade Chipotle Salsa1 Large Onion0.5 Medium Bunch Of Cilantro6 Leaves Of Butter Lettuce2 Large Tomatoes12 Slices Pepperjack Cheese6 Hamburger BunsIn a large bowl, combine together ground beef, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, cilantro, chives, garlic, chopped onion, and egg. Allow the ground beef mixture to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, to allow the flavors to fully develop. Heat a cast iron grill pan over medium-high heat, meanwhile form the ground beef mixture into six even sized patties. Grill the patties 4 minutes per side (for a perfect medium well). Before assembling the sandwiches, allow the hamburgers to rest for a few minutes.To assemble the sandwich, place lettuce leaves, tomato slice, onion rings, 2 slices of the cheese, followed by the burger patty and topped with a healthy dollop of the sauce. Cover the sandwich with the top bun, and serve with homemade sweet potato fries and a cold mexican lager.
