3 Sprigs Marjoram2 Tablespoon Butter2 Tablespoons Olive Oil3 Pounds Carrots0.5 Cup Fresh Orange Juice0.25 Cup Molasses2 Tablespoons Italian Parsley0 To Taste Salt & Freshly Ground Black PepperChop 2 teaspoons of marjoram leaves, reserving stems. In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium-high heat and cook carrots, salt and black pepper for about 4 minutes, tossing with tongs occasionally. Add orange juice, molasses, 1/2 cup of water and marjoram stems and stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered for about 12 minutes. Increase heat to high and cook, uncovered for about 5 minutes.Remove marjoram stems and discard them. Stir in parsley, chopped marjoram and remove from heat.
