4 Chicken Thighs Or Legs0 To Taste Salt & Pepper1 Tablespoon Oil1 Red Pepper1 Onion0.5 Half Fennel Bulb1 Tablespoon Paprika1 Clove Garlic0.5 Cup White Wine2 Tomatoes1 Bay Leaf2 Tablespoons Sour CreamSeason chicken pieces with salt and pepper evenly. In a sauté pan, heat oil and sear chicken pieces in batches until browned on all sides. Transfer chicken to a plate. Drain fat from pan, leaving 1 tablespoon inside. In the same pan, add pepper, fennel, onion and paprika and cook about 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more. Add wine and scrape brown bits. Add tomatoes, bay leaf, salt and black pepper and stir to combine. Stir in cooked chicken and cook, covered about 30 minutes, turning chicken pieces occasionally. With a slotted spoon, transfer chicken to a serving platter and cover with a piece of foil to keep warm. Increase heat and cook to your desired thickness. Remove from heat and stir in cream. Place sauce over chicken and serve.
