12 Tea Bags1 Small Bunch Fresh Mint Leaves0.125 Teaspoon Baking Soda9 Cups Water4 Cups Ice Cubes1 Cup Sugar1 Large LemonIn a 1-gallon heatproof glass pitcher, add tea bags and baking soda. Pour 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags. Stir and all tea to steep for 10 minutes, then discard the tea bags.In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add sugar and 1 cup water and stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil while continually stirring. Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside to cool.In the tea pitcher, add ice, 4 cups cold water and syrup and stir well. To serve, fill mason jars with ice and pour sweet tea over it. Garnish with lemon wedges & mint leaves.
