Biscoitos De Maizena (Cornstarch Cookies) Recipe | PT30M Serves 1 Ingredients: 2 Cups Cornstarch 2 Ounces Coconut 1 Cup Granulated Sugar 0.5 Teaspoon Salt 1 Whole Egg 0.75 Cup Unsalted Butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, sift together cornstarch, sugar and salt. Stir in eggs and butter and blend until smooth. Add coconut too and knead well. Let the dough sit for 10 to 15 minutes. To prepare the cookies in Biscoitos de Maizena style, take about a spoonful of the dough, roll into a 1-inch ball and drop on the prepared cookie sheet. Gently press the cookies with the tines of a fork into a crisscross pattern. Or use a cookie press to drop cookies onto the cookie sheet. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool a little before serving.
