30 Cloves Fresh Garlic4 Tablespoons Olive Oil2 Tablespoons Butter2 Broiler-Fryer Chickens1 Can (14½ Ounce) Chicken Broth1 Tablespoon Flour0 Fresh Chives & Parsley1 Cup RiceMelt butter and 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear chicken in heated oil-butter until brown, about 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove chicken from pan. Stir flour to the pan, mix, add garlic and broth and bring to a boil. Bring chicken back to the pan and simmer covered about 45 minutes. In another pan sauté rice in remaining oil until translucent.Add rice to the chicken and stir. Cover the pan and simmer 25 minutes more. Stir in herbs lastly and serve.
