Smart Recipes, Indian Recipes, Vegetables Recipes, Recipes Vegetables Indian Saag Paneer Saag Paneer Recipe | RecipeSavants.com PT45M Serves 4 Ingredients: 1.5 Pound Fresh Baby Spinach 2 Tablespoons Ghee 0.5 Pound Paneer Cheese 2 Medium Onions 0.5 Teaspoon Sea Salt 3 Large Garlic Cloves 1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala 0.25 Teaspoon Turmeric 1 Cup Buttermilk 1 Small Lemon In a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, melt ghee and saute the paneer until brown on all sides, about 7-8 minutes. Meanwhile, process the baby spinach in a food processor until finely minced. In a Dutch oven heat remaining ghee over medium-high heat and add the onions & salt. Saute the until onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, garam masala and turmeric. Stir frequently until combined & fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the minced spinach to the pot and stir until spinach is wilted about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in buttermilk & cream. Stir in paneer and lemon juice and mix well. Transfer to a large serving bowl and garnish with the sliced chili.
