4 Cups Pitted Tart Red Cherries1 Cup White Sugar0.25 Cup CornstarchIn a pan, add cherries over medium heat and heat, covered for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.In a bowl, add sugar and cornstarch and beat until smooth. Add sugar mixture to hot cherries and juice and stir to combine well. Return the pan to low heat and bring to a simmer, stirring continuously. Cook for about two minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and keep aside to cool before using.
