Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and cook bacon until browned, stirring frequently. With a slotted spoon, transfer bacon onto a paper towel lined plate to drain. Remove bacon grease from pan. In the same Dutch oven, add onions and garlic over the medium-high heat and stir well. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 8 minutes.
