Braised CeleryPT1H15M Serves 1 Ingredients: 2 Slices Bacon 1 Small Carrot 1 Tablespoon Butter 0.5 Cup Chicken Broth 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste 1 Small Onion Clean and trim the celery stalks. Remove tough strings and cut stalks into thirds. Using a 12 inch skillet, melt the butter with the bacon over medium heat. After butter has melted, stir in the onion and carrot then cook 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another minute. Add the chicken broth and 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil. Add celery and spoon mixture over. Heat to boiling then reduce heat and simmer 40-45 minutes
