2 Teaspoons Cooking Oil1 Tablespoon Butter Or Margarine0.5 Cup Half & Half Light Cream1 Dash White Pepper2 Tablespoon Dry White Wine0 Seedless Green Grapes1 Large Egg Yolk1 Pound Salmon Steaks1 Teaspoon CornstarchPlace a 6½-inch microwave-safe browning dish in the microwave and preheat on 100% power for about 3 minutes. Add cooking oil into browning dish and swirl to coat evenly. Place salmon steaks in browning dish and microwave, covered on 100% power for about 30 seconds. Flip salmon steaks and microwave, covered on 50% power for about 3 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from microwave and keep salmon steaks aside, covered until serving. For wine sauce: In a microwave-safe bowl, add butter or margarine and microwave, uncovered on 100% power for about 45-60 seconds or until melted completely. Add cornstarch and white pepper and stir to combine well. Stir in light cream and microwave, uncovered, on 100% power for about 2-3 minutes, stirring every minute. In a heatproof bowl, place beaten egg yolks. Add half of hot cream mixture and stir to combine well. Add egg yolk mixture into remaining cream mixture and microwave, covered on 50% power for about 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir until mixture becomes smooth. Add dry white wine and stir to combine. Transfer salmon steaks onto a serving platter and top with wine sauce. Serve with the garnishing of grapes.
