2 Cups Sugar2 Cups Corn Syrup1 Cup Hot Water1 Drop Food Coloring2 Tablespoons Butter8 Drops Cinnamon OilHeat sugar in a large non-stick pot with hot water and corn syrup over medium and cook until sugar dissolves. In the meanwhile, butter a large cake pan. Once the sugar syrup looks clear add food color of your choice. Then bring to a boil, stirring often until it reaches 130 degrees. It’s now time to do a water test. Fill cold water in a bowl and drizzle a spoonful of mixture in the water. If mixture hardens in water it's ready. Add 8 to 10 drops of cinnamon oil, stir to mix the oil and then remove into the greased cake pan. Let cool until candy is hard. Break apart into desired pieces and serve. Or sprinkle over your pudding, ice cream or creamy dessert.
