Ingredients:
10 Cups Water3 Cups Fresh Broad Fava Beans4 Cups Basmati Rice1 Tablespoon Salt0.25 Cup Vegetable Oil0.5 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric2.5 Cups Fresh Dill1 Tablespoon Butter4 Tablespoons Boiling Water0.125 Teaspoon Saffron ThreadsIn a large Dutch oven, bring 2 cups of water to a rapid boil, and blanch the fava beans for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside. Bring the remaining water to a boil, and stir in rice and salt; simmer for 15 minutes. Drain and set aside.Heat oil over medium heat, and stir in the turmeric. Layer half of the rice, beans, and minced dill, repeat with remaining ingredients. Cover the Dutch oven with a tea towel, and cover with the lid. Cook for another 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine melted butter, boiling water and saffron in a small bowl. Stir well. Pour butter mixture over the cooked rice, and stir to combine.
