0.5 Cup Vegetable Oil1 Cup Popcorn Kernels0.66 Cup Sugar1.5 Teaspoon SaltIn a large saucepan over medium-high heat, heat oil until it sizzles. Add the popcorn and sugar and stir to combine well. Immediately cover the pan with a lid. After popcorn starts popping, carefully give the pan a quick shake every few seconds until the popping slows down, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer corn to a large bowl. Discard any un-popped kernels. Sprinkle with salt and serve hot.
