Smart Recipes, Asian Recipes, Chicken,Eggs,Grains Recipes, Recipes Chicken,Eggs,Grains Asian Asian Fried Chicken PT30M Serves 6 Ingredients: 2 Pounds Chicken Drumsticks Or Thighs 4 Large Eggs 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour 1 Cup Oil 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil 5 Cloves Garlic 1 Large Shallot 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce 2 Tablespoons Packed Brown Sugar 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar 3 Tablespoons Ketchup 2 Tablespoons Sriracha In a saucepan, heat oil and saute garlic and shallots for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar, fish sauce, hot sauce and ketchup. Mix well to combine. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes. Turn heat off and set aside. In a medium bowl, beat eggs until mixed. Pour flour in a separate bowl. Coat chicken with flour and shake off excess flour. Dip in eggs and dry on a wire rack for 5 minutes. In a large frying pan, heat oil to 350 degrees. Deep-fry chicken until crispy and golden brown. Cook on medium-high heat for 10 to 15 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a plate lined with paper towels. Toss with the prepared sauce and coat well.
