Cut apples into 8 slices and roll each slice into a crescent roll piece. Transfer to the prepared pan. Melt butter in a saucepan and then stir in the sugar until just incorporated. Add vanilla and stir slightly, then pour the entire mixture over the apples. Pour the orange juice around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
