Smart Recipes, American Recipes, Dairy,Vegetables,Other Recipes, Recipes Dairy,Vegetables,Other American Spinach And Kale Calzone Spinach And Kale Calzone Recipe | PT1H Serves 4 Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 1 Clove Garlic 2 Medium Chilies 6 Small Anchovy Fillets 1 Small Bunch Fresh Kale 1 Small Bunch Fresh Baby Spinach 1 Cup Water 0.25 Teaspoon Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper 1 Fresh Mozzarella Ball 1 Large Pizza Crust 1 Large Egg Preheat oven to 395 degrees. Line a sheet pan with silpat or parchment paper and set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat oil and saute garlic, chilies & anchovies until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add kale & spinach and cook for 10 minutes. Stir in water and cook until greens are tender and water is evaporated, about 20 minutes. Season with salt & pepper. Remove from heat and set aside. On the prepared sheet pan, spread the dough into a circle. On 1 side of the dough, spoon kale mixture and top with cheese. Fold the other side of the dough over to create a half circle. Roll edges uptight and use a fork to seal. Brush with egg wash and use a knife tip to cut 2 steam slits in the top. Bake calzone until golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes. Slice into quarters and serve hot.
