1.5 Cups Flour1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt0.25 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper0.25 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika0.5 Pound Sharp Orange Cheddar Cheese0.5 Cup ButterIn a food processor, add flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt and pulse till combined. Add butter and cheese and pulse until a smooth dough is formed. Make a cylinder from the dough. With a plastic wrapper, cover the dough cylinder and keep aside for at least 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.In a cookie press, fitted with a star disk, place dough cylinder and pipe long ribbons. Then, cut each ribbon into 6-inch long pieces. Arrange dough straws onto prepared baking sheet in a single layer about 1-inch apart. Bake for about 13 minutes. Remove from oven and keep aside to cool. You can preserve these straws in the refrigerator by placing in an airtight container between sheets of waxed paper for up to 3 weeks.
