1 Cup Almonds2 Cups Whole Fresh Basil5 Cloves Garlic0.5 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil0.5 Teaspoon Sea Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper28 Ounces Garbanzo Beans5 Tablespoons Fresh Basil Leaves3 Tablespoons Tahini Paste2 Large Garlic Cloves2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil0.5 Teaspoon Sea SaltIn a saute pan over medium-high heat, toast almonds until lightly browned, about 2 minutes. Chop nuts and set aside.In the bowl of a food processor, add all ingredients for the pesto. Pulse until just ground, but not smooth. Transfer pesto to a small bowl and set aside.In the same bowl of a food processor, add all the hummus ingredients except for 1 Tablespoon of oil. Blend for 5 minutes, until creamy.
