Bavarian Style Red Cabbage Recipe | PT1H5M Serves 4 Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Head Red Cabbage 1 Granny Smith Apple 1 Large Onion 1 Cup Red Wine Vinegar 1 Cup Unsweetened Apple Juice 0.25 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar 0.5 Teaspoon Ground Cloves 0.5 Teaspoon Caraway Seeds 0.5 Teaspoon Salt & Freshly Cracked Black Pepper In a deep non-stick pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté onions for about 2 minutes. Add apples and cabbage and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add spices, vinegar and apple juice and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for about 30-45 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper and remove from heat. Serve
